The FIDEM Foundation published the report from its 4th annual conference, held on 6th March 2026 under the theme “Give to Gain: Building a Balanced Future for 21st Century Work and Life.”
The conference highlighted the urgent need to modernise Malta’s outdated work academics, civil society representatives and members of the public, to discuss the challenges and opportunities in creating a more balanced future for work and life.
The newly published report provides an overview of the key discussions, insights and recommendations that emerged throughout the conference.
It also features highlights from the event, photographs and the outcomes of the interactive workshops, outlining the actions needed to support more inclusive, flexible and family-friendly environments.
FIDEM Foundation would like to once again express its sincere gratitude to the financial sponsors who supported this year’s conference: APS Bank, Browns and Bonnici Insurance.
The Foundation also extends its appreciation to the organisations that supported the conference, including Malta Women’s Lobby, Working Town, Xara Collection, The Miller Group and JUGS, for their collaboration.
We invite you to explore the full conference report, discover the key takeaways from the event and continue being part of the conversation towards building a more balanced and empowered future.
